bambooman - illustration

This is to be a quick 1 to 2 day brief which is purely outcome based,
just designing the album artwork for one of bamboomans new EP's, the ep is called horse and cart, so taking the whole thing completely literally i decided to illustrate a horse on a cart. Might sound like a pretty stupid concept however with that plan being to screen print the illustration onto marble printed paper the final outcome should turn out really nice.

I started by sketching out a rough guide on illustrator

then adding the details as i went along.

I did really like the illustration that i have designed, however with this brief hopefully going live i want happy enough with it to expose onto a screen to screen print and sent to bambooman. The horse just kind of looked a bit out of shape, out of scale and kind of awkward on the cart. Which is annoying because i wasted a whole day drawing this up and i dont really have time to be spending starting from scratch.
