Looking through the D&AD competition briefs and the time we had left for this module, with only 2 weeks left until hand in I decided that the 'it's nice that'' brief would be the most suitable brief to work on, this is because the outcome for the brief could basically just be anything as long as it promoted the website. I thought the best thing to do would be to just make a series of promotional posters, which would be quite straight forward also allowing me to move away from all my previous co-orporate, branding, boring briefs and create some design work targeted towards designers allowing me to be completely creative with the outcomes.
However as Michael was working on the same brief we both came up with quite a nifty idea and decided to collaborate on it. Creating a series of zines showcasing the work shown on the website, each zine focussing on a separate subject which would be released every month.
So you would get a photography edition, illustration.. and so on.
