ProliferaTech - phyllotaxis

After looking researching into shapes and flowers i noticed these patterns that formed in the eye of the flower, after looking further into this i found these patterns were called 'phyllotaxis',

'' In botanyphyllotaxis or phyllotaxy is the arrangement ofleaves on a plant stem (from Ancient Greek phýllon "leaf" andtáxis "arrangement"). Phyllotactic spirals form a distinctive class of patterns in nature.''

I then found that there were a range of rules and formulas involved in the intricate two way spiral patterns,
here are some experiments trying to create these patters.

[SCAN SKETCHES]

First i created these templates to help draw a perfect spiral and rotate around the same point,

After creating the spiral i reduced the size of the circles going to the centre point and rotated around the same achorpoint to create these two way spinning spiral patterns, some of which look pretty smart, but are far too intricate for a logo.
