It covers a wide range of subject matter, but tending towards more 'highbrow' programmes than the more mainstream and popular BBC One.
BBC Two's remit historically was one screening programmes targeting art, drama and some comedy, and appealing to audiences not already served by BBC1 or ITV.
Here is a list of its weekly prime time programme listings from tuesday onwards.
Tuesday, everything seems to have some lighthearted programming, with programmes such as 'great british train journeys' and 'the fixer' would interest the sort of audience which would also watch a programme such as 'the rich list' - a light hearted programe all about the worlds richest people, how they make their money and how they spend it. Seems BBC2 at around 10pm would work perfectly, after the watershed so the audience would pretty much mainly be adults.
Wednesday seems to be a very mixed schedule with programmes ranging from comedies to very serious programming like newsnight, probably not bringing in the kind of audience i would like, mainly looking for an audience who want light hearted easy watching programming.
