No news is good news. mailing list.

Here are the 10 addresses which i hope to send my mailshot off to, including schools, colleges, season ticket holders and the football grounds themselves.

No news is good news. finished mailshot.

This is the finished version of my mailshot.

No news is good news. final design.

From the start of the brief i had planned on using my original poster designs within my final outcome because i felt they were quite successful in illustrating the message that i wanted to show.
However i had to alter them slightly to fit them in with the design of the mailshot.

experimenting with colours.

From this i decided that the green stock works best with using white for the type.
I then had to modify the type to allow it to fit in with the brief, making it my own opinion and a question.

I then put together the information on the back of the leaflet comparing footballers wages to the average wage.

No news is good news. mailshot idea development.

Here are some of the initial design ideas which i had for my mail shot.

after coming up with these initial ideas i decided that i wanted to develop the concept of making the mailshot look like money, so i went on to do some quick sketches of simple bank note designs that would only require 3 colours including stock to fit the brief, here are some of the concepts.

I then quickly created a few more ideas on illustrator to see how then would look done on the computer, you can see how my idea slowly developed into the last design.

I then created the final banknote to be used within my design from my development, i created the front and the bank note trying to stick to a similar design as a British 5 pound note but replacing the idents with items relating to my news story. I decided to use a 5 pound note because it is the only British note which is green which i though would work better as the colour green is instantly linked with money.

After developing folding techniques further i decided that this technique would work best for my design, with the wodd of money that fold out to become a leaflet, held together by a money band which also become the space for the address and stamp. Here is a net of my final design, and what it should look like from each angle when completed.
