penguin stages

one of the ideas i had for the book was to test how minimal you could make an illustration whilst it still being legible, so a way in which i wanted to show this was having a little flick book section in the book where you slowly removed some of the elements from an illustration to leave it at its most minimalist form.
I decided to show this with the penguin, i printed the penguin on 10 pages of acetate with each page removing some of the details,

the idea in my head sounded really good however when applied to print the pages didnt really match up and when layered on top of each other didnt look too great, guess it needs some tweaking before adding to the final outcome.
