Another print finish i planned to include in my book was spot varnishing, the facilities to do the actually spot varnishing process was fully booked so we found a way around it, in a similar way to the foil pressing, i basically bought some clear foil and used the heat press to transfer it onto the stock, the effect it has turned out really nice, pretty much similar to if i had used the actually spot varnish facilities so i was pretty happy with it.
