finalised logo

After asking mitch for some advise on coming up with a logo, he said none of my other ones really communicate science, and data processing very well, he advised me to go down the more modern route, looking at more contemporary design style to help fit in with the moden technology exhibition feel.

i had a go i creating a logo in pixles using a grid i created in illustrator, however the outcome wasnt too great, doesnt really work with some of the letters being build up on blocks and some of the solid, however the overall style of logo i tried this out on seemed to work perfectly, being modern, 'edgy' and fitting in with my content.

further developments of this style.

After messing around with the logo for a while now i decided to settle for this style and inverted colour scheme, i feel it fits the purpose well, being slightly strange and quirky and even angled slightly gives it this modern aesthetic which definitely would work well for an experimental science exhibition.

EXPERIMENTS
whilst developing a logo i had a go at seeing what could be made when messing around in photoshop and ended up creating this, not really relevant at the minute but it is an interesting technique and something i would hopefully look further into as the project goes on.
