Album artwork..

For the first of my briefs i decided to get in contact with a local musician called Bambooman 'kirk barley' and asked if it would be possible if i could design any artwork for him. I have been a fan of his music for a while now and he is definitely in the right genre to coincide with the type of artwork that i hope to produce, because of his experimental, downtempo, bass music it would give me the opportunity to be quite abstract with the outcomes, produce some artwork that is quite experimental to try to properly communicate his style of music through the artwork.
Here is the email that i sent him along with his reply; pretty happy with the reply i received. Although the artwork wont necessarily go live he has given me the all clear to create design work for his new singles also he said he will send me some clips and such to help influence the design work.
Hopefully he will like the work that i produce and it will maybe get used. Either way though should be a pretty good brief, with the creative freedom to produce some really experimental outcomes along with the opportunity to expand the brief to a huge range of possible outcomes.
