ProliferaTech - setting up the experiment
Here is a video of us setting up the bacteria experiment,
the pertri dishes had arrived so all we had to do was create the solution using jelitin and food stock with sugar, swab a range of items that would grow some bacteria and wait.
We wanted to grow some interesting bacteria in petri dishes to see if we can get some nice imagery from is for posters or for the publication we are going to create.
we took swobs of things that contain bacteria such as:
food, clothing, household appliances, bins, furniture and human samples taken from mouths and feet to see if we can grow a variety of colours and patterns forming.
and left to cool in the fridge
Another experiment we did to create home grown crystals using a simple comcopsion of salt and vinegar and leave the solution to evaporate.
